About the Arts and Crafts Center
We are proud to offer a variety of programs and events for your enjoyment and recreation. Learn new skills, meet new people who share your interests and develop pursuits that will enrich your life. Try our U-Frame-It department, or our woodshops and ceramics studio. Certification classes are offered each month in all three studios, and we also have craft classes in a wide variety of mediums. Keep in mind we're always looking for top quality instructors to teach unique courses.

Custom Gift Shop
If you are ever looking for a special gift with a personal touch, stop by our gift shop with your ideas. The Skills Development Center has a state-of-the-art laser engraver which works on practically any surface, and is the perfect way to create that custom gift for any special occasion. Our frame shop is also a great place to finish off posters or artwork and give them a professional edge.
We can also produce original designs with our computer graphics section. T-shirts or coffee mugs with personalized messages or photos are a snap! Just stop in and tell us what you'd like done.

Programs and Instructional Classes
The Skills Development Center offers classes for all ages and abilities in wood working, pottery, and framing. To sign up for class visit the Skills Development Center. Spaces are filled on a first come, first served basis. Call us at 606-6438 for more information.
Wood Shop Classes
Safety Class
Every Saturday of each month
11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The class offers you proper safety practices on different type of shop equipment.
Cost:

Pottery Classes
Session I: 5 February - 25 March
Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The class offers you an opportunity to relax and experience the joy of working with clay on a potter's wheel.
Cost: $120, includes 25 lbs of clay, glazing, firing, and studio time

Beginners Framing Classes
Every second Tuesday of the month
Enrollment $30.00 Plus Supply
Registration and payment 2 weeks in advance
Must have the basic math skills
